Fred Baker
Fred Baker is one of the pioneers of Trance music in the world and also one of the biggest producers / remixer of the electronic music scene travelling all around the world. Whether producing original tracks, remixing someone else’s production and working on movie soundtracks, Fred Baker has an instinctive feel for what is fun, and what the dance floor will respond to. It’s that love for the music and for trance music in particular that keeps the faithful returning to the floor.
It all started for Fred baker in a big way when he produced in 1996 Ibiza classic trance anthem Y-TRAXX “Mystery Land” and then produced the Legendary club anthem GROOVEZONE “ Eisbaer ” on Positiva Records in 1997. In the same year Fred Baker produced the huge trance monster GLOBAL TRANCE MISSION “ Dream Mission” which has been played by many Dj’s worldwide including Judge Jules, Graham Gold, Paul Oakenfold, DJ Tiesto, M.I.K.E. and Ferry Corsten to mention a few.
After many years in the club scene and touring around the world his sound continued to evolve and he signed with three of the biggest trance labels in the world MAGIK MUZIK with Dj Tiesto, ARMADA with Armin Van Buuren and VANDIT with Paul Van Dyk !
In 2005 Dj Tiesto “ADAGIO FOR STRINGS” was remixed by Fred Baker and became a massive anthem. In 2006 Fred Baker also produced the Sensation anthem “FOREVER FRIENDS “on his own new label: BAKER STREET RECORDS and in 2008 the new GROOVEZONE “Eisbaer” remixes where released and Fred Baker was signed on the Perfecto label. After a new release “ATLANTIS CITY” with Greg Nash on Spinnin Records, Fred Baker released his solo album which was signed worldwide by PIAS and the 1st single taken from the album called “SUNSHINE” rocked all dance floors worldwide” !
In 2009 Fred Baker single called “IBIZA PROJECT 2009” is now one of the biggest summer hits in the clubs and the track is signed by TIESTO on his own label with new remixes of Y-TRAXX “Mystery Land” signed on Nebula UK. This guy never stops pleasing and finally his back to our shores to please us with his amazing style of trance and progressive bombs and remixes.
